Where: Milford High School LGI
Time: 1:00-2:15
During this session you will here from Abigail Powers, Muir Middle School Art teacher. For the past three years her Design students have been using Weebly to create ePortfolios. These portfolios serve as the final exam grade for her Design class (which earns high school credit in the 8th grade). The students spend a great deal of time working on these websites. They include a home page and a Design page with pictures and writing about each and every project completed within the semester. If you would like to take a look at some of these sites please use the links below:
Katie's ePortfolio
Sydney's ePortfolio
Mya's ePortfolio
Cheyenne's ePortfolio
Coral's ePortfolio
Also, check out my classroom website made on Weebly: mmsarts.weebly.com
We will also touch on the basics of creating a website. We will discuss creating a classroom site using weekly and go over the basic instructions on how to get started. Weebly is a great classroom tool from everything to ePortfolios to web quests....how will you use it in your classroom?
